Bridal Terms & Conditions

BRIDAL DEPOSITS

Immediate payment of a non-refundable 50% deposit is required before a date will be held. The deposit payment will be deducted from the final balance of your booking. Once the deposit payment is received, your date will be secured.

By paying the deposit, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions. All payments are strictly non-refundable.


REMAINING BRIDAL PAYMENTS

The balance is due one month prior to your wedding date. We will send out your updated remaining balance invoice 6 weeks prior to your wedding date. Should payment not be received by the due date, we have the right to cancel all services for your wedding date.


IF YOU CHANGE YOUR BRIDAL BOOKING

You can make changes to your bridal booking up until 8 weeks before the agreed upon wedding date. This includes adding/removing services and altering timing. Additional services will only be accepted and timing will only be altered if this works with our availability. 

If you wish to remove services from your booking after the 8 week cut-off, this will not reduce your final payment.

We will not accept extra bookings on the wedding day. This will jeopardise timing and the quality of work.

You can reschedule your bridal booking to a new date up until 12 weeks before the agreed upon wedding date, if we have availability. The deposit will be forfeited if your date change does not work with our availability.


IF YOU CANCEL OR POSTPONE YOUR BRIDAL BOOKING

​In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel or postpone your bridal booking, any payments you have made are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, if advised less than 12 weeks before the agreed upon wedding date. This is to cover the fact that we have held the date, and turned away other bookings.

If you wish to postpone your wedding date with less than 12 weeks notice from your original date, you will need to pay another non-refundable deposit as this will be treated as a new booking.


​IF WE CANCEL OR CHANGE YOUR BOOKING 

In the unlikely event that your artist is unable to provide service due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, our first point of call would be to immediately substitute with one of our other artists or find an alternative freelance artist to stand in, for the same time slot. 

Alternatively, if we cannot offer the same time slot we will advise of our remaining availability. If the new times presented to you interfere with your plans, all payments will be immediately refunded (including the deposit). We will work with you to find an alternative reputable artist or salon to cater for your requirements, however any such booking will remain solely the responsibility of yourself. 

In the case of a group bridal booking with multiple artists assigned, we will offer to focus solely on the bride/bridesmaids and potentially request an earlier start time, and refund any forfeited services. No further compensation will be offered. 

If  there is any sign of mistreatment including physical or verbal abuse, or a member of our team is made to feel uncomfortable in any way, we have the right to cancel the booking without refund. In the event of extreme weather conditions where we are physically unable to reach your wedding booking, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. At our discretion, we will consider refunding all monies as a gesture of goodwill (excluding trial costs), depending on the circumstance.


BRIDAL HAIR & MAKEUP TRIALS

Bridal trials are compulsory for all brides. Once the bridal booking is secured with a deposit payment, the trial is to be booked within the first 3 months of securing the date.

Without a trial, we will not accept responsibility if a chosen style or look does not work on a wedding day or there are circumstances where there is a mismatch in communication or desired outcome, and a refund will not be offered. 

We reserve the right to cancel a bridal booking following a trial. A refund of the bridal deposit will be issued, but there are strictly no refunds for trials. In the rare occurrence that we cancel your bridal booking following the trial, circumstances may include (but aren't limited to) the client being uncooperative, making a member of our team feel uncomfortable, or simply because we feel it isn't a good fit.

EARLY MORNING FEE

In the event that we are required to start before 6am; there will be an additional $50 charge per 30 minutes.


IN THE EVENT OF DELAYS EXPERIENCED ON THE WEDDING DAY 

If we experience unforeseen delays which are out of our control, refunds will not be given in the event that one or more services are forfeited as a result and no compensation will be offered if we overrun. If you are aware of factors which could delay or hinder your journey, please advise us as soon as possible. No refund or compensation will be offered for delays caused by other wedding vendors, guests, or members of the bridal party. 

A minimum of 45 minutes will be allocated for hair or makeup application per person and we will advise a timeline prior to the day. Please ensure that your other suppliers (i.e photographers & videographers) are aware of our timeline & expected completion time. If you suspect any member of your bridal party may pose as a challenge in any way, they are encouraged to have a trial to avoid potential delays on the day.


CLIENT OBLIGATIONS ON THE WEDDING DAY 

Please ensure every member of your party is aware of the time plan on the day. We request that each person is ready at the scheduled time for hair and makeup. This will ensure there are no delays. 

Please ensure all other instructions provided in your Bridal Confirmation email the week of the wedding are followed.

You are to inform us of any allergies prior to any makeup application or hair styling. If no known allergies are stated, we cannot be held liable for any reactions, injuries, losses, damage, costs, claims and actions that may occur to you or any other member of your party. 

Prior to having makeup applied or hair styled, please ensure you and your party are prepared to avoid leaving the chair whilst we are working. Please ensure teeth are cleaned, you have been to the toilet and contact lenses are applied (if applicable), before sitting in the chair. Also ensure everyone's faces are cleansed of any makeup or product as we prep the skin with skincare to commence application.

For their own safety please ensure that children are kept away from our styling tools and products at all times. Styling irons are extremely hot and hazardous, and we will not be held responsible if a child is injured as a result of the parent or carer not being present. 


​WET HAIR FEE

An additional $15 Blow Dry Fee will be applied to anyone who arrives in salon or offsite with wet hair. We require our clients to advise if this service is required upon booking, as this will throw off the timeline due to the extra time required to blow out the hair.
